Pinellas Bayway Resident SunPass Plan Expires June 30

Pinellas Bayway Resident SunPass Plans will expire on June 30, regardless of when they were purchased. Passes can be renewed starting on June 1. You must go in person to the Pinellas Bayway Walk-In Center (located at 4501 54th Avenue South, Saint Petersburg, FL 33711) to present proof of residency and pay the $15 annual fee.

The proof-of-residency can’t be electronic, but it can be a print-out of a utility bill from the resident’s account on the utility website.

The Bayway Resident pass allows the holder to pass through the East Plaza (on the Bayway going westbound from Interstate 275 to Point Brittany) at no charge. The regular discounted SunPass rate applies at the St. Pete Beach (eastbound) and at the Ft DeSoto (southbound) toll booth. The same SunPass transponder will function at all SunPass tolls if you maintain a prepaid balance.

Toll rates shown on sign Pinellas Bayway Tolls Commuter Pass is a second discount plan. With the Commuter Pass, trips through all three Bayway toll booths are free. This is a yearly pass that expires on September 30 regardless of when the $50 plan was purchased. The pass is available to all two-axle motorists. It can be purchased online (at www.sunpass.com) when purchasing or activating your SunPass transponder or by adding it to your existing account at the Pinellas Bayway Walk-In Center. If you sign up for Easy Pay, you can choose to automatically renew the Commuter Pass each year.
